Reliable Studio Lighting
With 400 watt-seconds of output and a fast 0.5 to 1.0 second recycle time, the FJ400-SE keeps up with fast-paced shoots. It’s a go-to solution for portraits, product photography, and content creation, giving you confidence to deliver shot after shot.
Adjustable Lighting for Flawless Results
The FJ400-SE produces a consistent 5500K daylight-balanced flash with a 6 F-stop output range from 12.5–400Ws (1/32 power to full). Adjust power in 0.1 or 1.0-stop increments for fine-tuned exposure. A 15W LED modeling light with 5500K daylight output helps you preview light placement and composition.
Quick Setup with Creative Control
The large LCD screen, intuitive menu, and auto memory recall make setup fast and simple. This monolight flash features Manual mode with Front and Rear Curtain Sync for creative timing effects. It delivers flash durations down to 1/1200s for studio portraits, with built-in cooling and adjustable recycle modes for consistent performance on longer shoots.
Seamless FJ Wireless System Integration
A built-in 2.4GHz receiver lets you control the strobe wirelessly using any FJ Wireless trigger or speedlight, both compatible with major camera brands. With 16 groups, 32 channels, and up to 328’ (100m) of wireless range, it provides reliable communication - even in high-interference environments.
An optical sensor and sync port offer additional triggering options. Use the free Westcott StudioLink app to control your lights and access features like Mask and Delay, all from your mobile device.
Shape and Style Your Light
A Bowens S-Type mount and 9mm umbrella receptacle support a wide range of light modifiers, including softboxes, beauty dishes, and umbrellas. The built-in tilter bracket with 5/8” (16mm) receiver offers secure mounting and flexible positioning. Each strobe includes a magnetic reflector and color correction gel set to help match ambient lighting and shape your look.
