I always prefers to shop local whenever possible. When my wife and I moved to southern Bucks County, Pennsylvania, a number of years ago, I remembered hearing about Allen's Camera during my years as a camera store owner back in the 1990's. When I first visited Allen's I was impressed by the cases full of "big glass"... the large telephoto lenses preferred for wildlife photography. The rest of the store was full of high quality accessories, Nikon, Canon, Sony, Olympus and other shiny new cameras, and lots of pre-owned cameras and lenses at great prices.

First and foremost, however, I was impressed by how friendly and knowledgeable the staff is at Allen's, even when they are extremely busy... which is most of the time. Obviously, many other people realize how great Allen's is as there are always customers in the store and the phones are always ringing!

Since that first visit, I’ve made many purchases at Allen's as there is no reason to go anywhere else!

Lee filters offer a quality, yet cost effective way to balance your contrasty scenes or add special long-exposure effects that post process just can't do.

I switched to the ProMaster Rugged SD UHC-II cards a few years ago and have been quite impressed with their durable reliability. The bright orange color helps me find them if dropped and no matter the conditions, I know they will function as expected!

Think Tank cases and Mind Shift backpacks (by Think Tank) are the most durable bags I have owned. My Roller Derby case has been the best airport travel bag I have used in 28 years of leading workshops! I recently purchased the Mind Shift Backlight 45L backpack and am quite impressed with the weight and build as well as the comfort!

The Fotopro Eagle series tripod has quickly become my favorite of the five high-quality tripods I own. A comfortable size and the incredibly versatile design make my go-to tripod for all my travel. The compact gimbal head with leveling bowl offers stability and adjustability on any terrain!
