Course Details
This course is designed to introduce and familiarize students with the basic principles of photography.Specifically addressing the exposure triangle and how to expose, as well as touching on appropriate flash use and basic composition techniques.
Prerequisites
This is what you need to bring to class with you
• DSLR or Mirrorless camera, preferably an interchangeable lens camera (No Point and Cameras)
• A notepad or notebook for notes, or a cell phone
Objectives
After completing this course, students should be able to do the following:
• Understand the exposure triangle and be able to change these settings without affecting the exposure
• Mount and unmount lenses from the camera body
• Appropriately hold and support the camera during operating
• Change the exposure mode on the program dial
• Make an educated decision about composition and when to use built-in flash

He enjoys working with students of all levels—from beginners just picking up a camera to seasoned professionals—guiding them toward their goal of capturing their best images.
