  Saturday - Tim Orendorff, Owner/Lead Photographer Orendorff Studios - York, PA
  11am Session 1: Sportraits: Creating Bold, Dramatic Athlete Portraits
  Tim will demonstrate how to combine Westcott Lighting with a Sony camera system (and possibly a Smoke Ninja) to produce bold, cinematic sports portraits. Featuring a youth athlete with a baseball theme, this session will showcase how dynamic lighting and creative effects can turn a simple setup into powerful imagery.
  1pm Session 2: Glamour Portraits: Lighting for Style and Impact
  In this live demo, Tim will use Westcott Lighting and a Sony camera system to create vivid, high-impact glamour portraits. With an experienced model on set, he’ll demonstrate how to fine-tune lighting and camera settings for a polished, professional result.

Photo Contest

If you'd like to participate, stop into the shop any time from now until November 20th and print your best fall photo at our in-store printing kiosk, or email your submission to claudia@allenscamera.com!

* One photo per person
* No restrictions on equipment or photographic medium
* Entrants agree that photos submitted can be reposted by Allen's Camera on social media
* No composite photographs - no adding images to the frame (ie: sky, moon, stars, trees, etc. MULTIPLE EXPOSURES ACCEPTED)
* The use of color grading tools to enhance/correct exposure, saturation and tone are permitted.
* Winners may be asked to submit original (.raw or .jpg) photos 

Community Giving: Donation Drive for Share Food Program

As part of Allen’s-Giving, we’re collecting items to support Share Food Program. We're focusing on portable, ready-to-eat, and kid-friendly items, including:

Most Needed Food Items:

• Water & Gatorade

• Snacks (chips, nuts, crackers, cookies, etc.)

• Microwavable meals

• Cereal

• Pancake mix & syrup

• Granola bars

If a child can pack it in a lunchbox or an unhoused person can carry it in a backpack, it’s perfect.

Toiletries & Hygiene Items:

• Travel-size or full-size products

• Toothpaste, toothbrushes

• Soap, deodorant, shampoo

• Feminine hygiene products

• Wipes, lotion, etc.

Note: Canned goods are welcome but not the main focus of this drive.
