Welcoming the 8K Ninja V+
As part of the expansion of the Ninja family, Atomos is also excited to reveal the next step in the evolution of the multi-award winning Atomos Ninja. The Ninja V+ builds on the foundation of the Ninja’s before it, by delivering high quality accurate monitoring and extended recording capabilities for your camera, delivering up to 8Kp30 and 4Kp120 continuous recording in Apple ProRes RAW. Whilst the new stealth grey bezel on the Ninja V+ is the only visual difference when compared to the Ninja V, under the hood lies a powerhouse of video and image processing.
To support SDI camera users, we are also introducing the Ninja V+ Pro Kit which comes packed with additional accessories and enables 4Kp120 ProRes RAW recording mode from the RAW over SDI output of Sony’s FX9* and FX6*. Atomos and Sony customers will now be able to experience the benefits 4K high frame rate, whilst recording in pristine ProRes RAW.
Ninja Stream overcomes social distancing challenges
We are also excited to introduce the Atomos Ninja Stream, a 5” 4Kp60 HDR Monitor-Recorder with Wi-Fi, Ethernet and USB-C to usher in a new era of streaming on productions without a computer in sight. Designed specifically to overcome the challenges of today’s productions, the incredibly powerful Ninja Stream allows you to capture, edit and proxy record, share with others on set via Wi-Fi and Ethernet, plus livestream your content around the world without the need for a PC – all at the same time!
